Pinot Gris is a white wine grape believed to have originated in the Burgundy region of France. It is a member of the extended Pinot family of grape varieties and is specifically known as the red skinned genetic mutation of Pinot Noir.
Our Estate Rosé label features our beloved fur baby Lady. Lady is a strawberry blonde Alaskan Klee Kai (mini husky) with a full white undercoat. She loves roaming the property and chasing birds in the vineyard. She gives the best kisses and is just the cutest dog on a wine bottle!
The grape skins and seeds were kept in contact with the juice and cold soaked for 12 hours before pressing and fermented in stainless steel. Aromas of spring peach blossoms, stoney minerality, strawberries and cream and pink bubblegum permeate the glass. The palate is dry and offers red apple, light grapefruit, strawberry-rhubarb and ripened peach. The perfect summer wine!
This wine will pair delightfully with fresh salmon, soft cheeses, such as goat cheese or brie, as well as basil pesto antipasto and cured meats.
